Noreen and Company!
Now this is just a sample, we would have to open a 15th District account and se up your blog........
Noreen thee are hundreds of backgrounds/looks/styles for the blog. I thought this one was cute..........
This is where you can post the monthly news, updates, photos and more. The length is endless. No more need for newsletter or postage costs. Information can be posted in a timely fashion and accessed anytime. If PTA pres at Blah blah school only has a free minute at 4am she can check what is happening at the District, Get training info see pictures, have links to all the PTA sites she needs (national, programs) at her fingertips and in one spot. Hey this is what District is supposed to be! Pretty Cool
Here is the great part. Older posts / information are always readily available to the board councils and PTA members who come to the blog. Old info/posts are archived off to the left.
Great if someone suddenly says darn where is my mission bell from Oct, it had some great stufff........
Well it is always available in the archive on this blog!
Also off to the right is great spot to provide links!!!!!!!! to other PTA sites maybe to each Councils sites if they have them. Each school ditrict could have a link for easy access. This blog becomes a central system for gleening inof, which it seems is what the distrit is.
Try it out just by clicking.
You can have multiple pages(see the top) so popular subject can be accessed, maybe training or something like reflections which may need its own page so it always there, that sort of thing.
Try clicking on Program information at the top then back to the home when you ant to return to the home page
Anyone can become a follower of this blog or you can do it by invite only. Followers (PTA presidents, reflections leads at council and the schools ect) sign up. They are sent an email to update them any time you post or update on the blog....... No more e-mail loops!
Authoring, or permission to post can be controlled so you can set yourself and Deena for example. All others can only read the blog.
You can have contact info and more!
I stuck a picture in here so you can see it is more than text
You could have posted the exciting news about national today. All the followers would be email updated immediatley as to a new District post and when they click the links in their email, there is the picture and the news. It is that easy to keep everyone informed.
Also you can create links right on the blog posts. Lets say we are promoting Reflections
